Regional Steering Group Members

The National Steering Group is made up of the Regional Steering Group Members who are appointed through our regional application process. These appointees must be active members of their local Parent Carer Forum and must have been active within their Regional Network prior to their application. They are accountable to the Co-Chairs and the National Steering Group but have a duty to ensure they are representing their Regional Network of Parent Carer Forums accurately and appropriately when performing their role.

Their key functions are to be the conduit for information and on the ground experiences from local Parent Carer Forums within their region and nationally when representing them. Regional Network Meetings provide the opportunity to share information about the NNPCF Steering Group and National Representatives Teams activities as well as to hear from the regions forums. Regional Network Meetings are different from region to region based on the make up of the network and the needs of its member forums. One of the key features of Regional Network Meetings is updates from the NNPCF Regional Steering Group Member and Contact Regional Advisors, which forms an essential part of the Regional Steering Group Members role.
