December 2018 Educational Select Committee
June 1, 2019
In April 2018 the Education Select Committee launched the Special educational needs and disabilities enquiry. As part of this the committee have been hearing evidence from various individuals, groups and organisations.
The inquiry is intended to review the success of wide-reaching changes to the SEND system introduce in 2014. This includes how they have been implemented, and what impact they are having in meeting the challenges faced by children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
On Tuesday 4th December Mrunal Sisodia gave evidence on behalf of the National Network of Parent Carer Forums and their 93,000 members. This can be viewed at the Parliment Live TV website.
The time during the oral evidence procedure is limited and therefore the NNPCF have submitted additional written evidence which can be read on this attached document.
