BACCH and BACD Survey: Impact of austerity measures on families with disabled children
In response to the British Academy of Childhood Disability (BACD) and British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH) survey, and the recent news coverage, the NNPCF Steering Group has today published a position statement on the findings from this survey. The national survey looked at the impact of austerity measures on families with disabled children and the budget cuts on community health teams for disabled children.

Mary Busk was interviewed on the BBC Five O’clock News on 18th February 2015. Mary spoke specifically about her personal experiences with her son Alex. Consultant Paediatrician Dr Karen Horridge also appeared alongside Mary to address the findings of the survey.
